The Mt Erie Fire Department trains nearly every Monday night from 7pm-9pm. Classes that require longer periods of time are held on weekends. In addition some programs, such as FF1 (fire academy) and EMT, require training multiple evenings a week and Saturdays over a period of several months.

During the course of the year we will train on structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle extrication, medical emergencies, communications, and hazardous materials among other topics. We take training seriously because proper training is critical to the safety of our volunteers and the community.
