The District is organized under Title 52 of the Revised Code of Washington.
3 Commissioners meet monthly and review and approve the bills and plan the financial and strategic goals of the District. The Commissioners are elected by the citizens of the District to serve 6 years terms. The terms are staggered so that every 2 years we hold an election.
The Board holds a public meeting the second Monday of every month, 6 pm at the community hall at fire station 1. Changes will be posted outside the fire stations and the door to the community hall.
The District Secretary is a part time paid position. The Secretary assists the Commissioners and Chief, does the book keeping, produces reports, takes meeting minutes, and countless other tasks that keep the District running.
